The current building has a nave with a rectangular apse and still preserves much of the original Romanesque building.
Follow the track to climb up to Coll d'Oliveda. Leave the main trail and take the path on the right towards Serrat de Rocafort, Cantenys and Puig de la Granja. Begin the descent along the main path from here and go through Can Cardona. Then come to the chapel of St. Pere dels Vilars, a building that still has the Romanesque hancel dating from the tenth century.
Take the track to the right, going down, toward Maçanet Cabrenys. Continue on a paved road for about one kilometre and go along a technical path for the following two kilometres. Cross this road to get to the centre of the village by following the Cardona. Arrive at a square where you can see the Tourist Office and take Carrer del Pont to get to the Town Square. It is advisable to visit the Church of Sant Martí and the Castell Square, cycling through the interior of what was the old wall. The twelfth or thirteenth century church, belongs to the late Romanesque. It consists of a rectangular nave. It still preserves the wooden door decorated with wrought, which was very characteristic of the medieval age.
Take the street Burriana and leave the town on Salines street. Follow Tramuntana street, go over the bridge of Can Poquet, Can Buixó and the grove of the Cemetery.
